Welcome to the Washington Dialogue Foundation
At the heart of our identity are two words we cherish most: Washington and Dialogue.
Together, they represent our commitment to fostering open, frank, and non-partisan conversations on the issues shaping our world.
We create confidential – but not secretive – spaces for dialogue. Off the record, yet inclusive. Thoughtful, respectful, and always forward-looking.
Our mission is to bring together diverse voices to explore the most critical challenges and opportunities of our time, with a focus on:
● Space Economy. Introducing the Space Discussion Bridge
This flagship initiative aims to build Transatlantic Dialogue and Strategic Insight in the New Space Economy. We wish to become a reference point for strategic thinking in the aerospace sector, focusing on the growing intersections of Space policy, security, and economic strategy. We willfacilitate high-level transatlantic and multilateral dialogue between the United States and like-minded partners.
Initially launched as a “Discussion Group” format, the project seeks to:
• Foster person-to-person engagement among Space policy professionals, researchers, investors, and military strategists.
• Convene private forums, expert roundtables, and informal high-trust exchanges around key developments in civil and military Space programs.
• Map out emerging trends in Space investment, satellite defense, Space Law, and the role of Space in US strategic posture.
Research Ideas:
• The strategic implications of Space competition with China.
• The future of multilateral governance in Low-Earth Orbit and beyond.
• NATO’s evolving role in Space deterrence.
